The Hidden Rivet is an online store for raw denim and workwear: heavyweight selvedge pants, military-inspired trousers, plaid shirts and denim jackets. Everything here is built to be worn hard and to change with you, fading and softening into something that’s yours.
Where the name comes from
On vintage jeans, the rivets on the back pockets were covered with a layer of denim so they wouldn’t scratch saddles, chairs and furniture. It was a small detail most people never noticed, made with the wearer in mind. That’s the idea behind the store.
What we carry
- Grounded: heavyweight raw denim pants, including 21oz raw selvedge in slub and black, plus a moss colorway, in regular and straight-leg cuts.
- The Peacekeepers: 11oz herringbone twill trousers, garment washed to a faded army green and inspired by vintage military trousers.
- The Sunday Shirt: a lightweight 6oz Japanese cotton plaid shirt with pick stitching and natural Corozo buttons, in three colorways.
- Accordion: a Type 1–style jacket in 12oz crosshatch denim.
